Bright Expeditions is a DofE Approved Activities Provider (AAP) and are licenced to provide the DofE expedition section at all levels by foot, canoe and for those with additional needs. Therefore, you have peace of mind that your programme officially meets the Duke of Edinburgh’s award requirements.

What is the Duke of Edinburgh Award (DofE)?
Undertaking a Duke of Edinburgh’s award expedition (DofE) can be life changing. An opportunity to enjoy new experiences that provide learning, fun and discovery.
DofE is recognised and respected by employers as an example of a young person’s determination, skills and abilities.
DofE is one of the few opportunities where unaccompanied young people get to experience the freedom of the outdoors with their peers and feel true responsibility. Most importantly a DofE programme belongs to a young person. Along the way they will develop an amazing and valuable set of powerful life skills and boots full of memories they won’t forget!
We offer DofE Bronze, DofE Silver and Gold DofE expeditions and we aim to make our expedition packages as accessible, safe and enjoyable as possible.
