With over 20 years’ experience, Bright Expeditions are specialist providers of DofE expedition programmes and outdoor activities for individuals and groups in the UK.

Our friendly, experienced, and qualified staff team have a passion for the outdoors and ensuring that our programmes deliver quality and good experiences whilst equipping everyone with essential skills.

Bright Expeditions are based in the beautiful South Downs, and we work in a variety of locations across London, the south/south east and the wilder parts of the UK e.g. Wales, Lakes and Peak District.

We offer DofE Bronze, Silver and Gold expedition programmes, team building and bushcraft residentials, Forest School activities plus expedition leader training and assessment.

We can work with you to provide a full expedition or activity package, with all equipment and advice throughout in a safe and supportive environment that meets the needs of your students.

We work with schools all over London, the south east and further afield providing Bronze, Silver and Gold DofE Expeditions and training.

DofE Bronze Award

Bronze DofE Award is the starting point in the DofE journey and an introduction to expedition skills. It gives young people the opportunity to explore and be inspired by the outdoors with their peers.

DofE Silver Award

DofE Silver Award is the opportunity for young people to further develop their relationship with the outdoors and progress their expedition skills in a more challenging environment.

DofE Gold Award

Gold DofE Award is the most challenging but awe-inspiring expedition experience. Undertaken in remote wild country and with minimal adult intervention, young people will fully experience the outdoors.

Forest School Courses

Student led and totally unique we can run forest school courses at our Surrey or Sussex forest or at a location close to you, even on your school fields or woods.

Bushcraft Courses

Let our bushcraft experts share their knowledge and experience with you and wow you with their bushcraft skills on one of our bushcraft courses.

Team Building Days

Does your team need to break the ice and learn how to work together? We can provide team building days and problem solving to provide a totally unique experience for your team.

CLA & Leader Training

We are providers of the Countryside Leader Award (CLA) training course and assessment
